Another collaps in the mine

It happened again. Another accident in the mine, but it went well this time. A truck driver saw rocks falling but he managed to turn the vehicle and one rock hit the car and caused damage on that. No one was hurt. The cooridor where this happened was supposed to be safe and reinforced. It seems the mine has to look over its routines thoroughly.

Another way of moving...

The iron mine in Malmberget, 120 kms from Kiruna, is eating itself into town since many years. Sometimes people have to move when the ground gets instable. Most people would of course move from one house to another, but yesterday somebody was moving house in a literal sense. We happened to see one of the houses moving these days being transported just one block away from our church.

The street was almost too narrow!

And the house was huge - as was the truck!
